WHO WE ARE

L’Osservatore Romano Photographic Service consists of a team of operators (photographers, archivists, technicians, counter clerks, information technologists…) totally at the service of the Holy Father’s image, from the shot to the archiving.

The office is at the Vatican. After entering Porta Sant’Anna, take Via del Pellegrino, the first road on the right. Towards the end, you will find the entrance to L’Osservatore Romano and next to it the photographic service (there is a small sign: FOTO)

The Photographic Service is open to the public so, entering Porta Sant’Anna, you only have to tell the Swiss Guard and the Vatican Police: I’M GOING TO THE PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICE.
